Yeoyongkuk Korean Spa Experience in Seoul | South Korea

My first time getting a massage and facial in Korea and I wanted to go for a traditional one for a more authentic feel and experience, and this did not disappoint. However, the facial comprised of a step using this Hwasa tool which felt like microneedling, so do be mentally prepared…Having lower pain tolerance, I did tear up a little at this step, but my parents thought it felt like a good facial massage. Other than this, I do enjoy the facial and body/ legs massage! The post-massage snacks and tea were a nice touch as well!

Definitely an experience for tourists who wants to try a more Korean approach to wellness.

I had seen it on TV and I was always interested in it. I had never been to a salon that would start by identifying my constitution, so everything was a first for me! From the atmosphere of the salon to the treatment and after-sales service, it was all the best! It was the last appointment time, but they were happy to accept me, so I'm grateful. When I got back to the hotel, the swelling in my body and face had gone and I had a nice, slim figure. I'll definitely go again when I'm in town!

It was an interesting time to know what my Sasang constitution is. It was a time to learn a lot about my body, from foods that fit my constitution to recommendations for aromatic oils. Director, you are soft and so good!

The location is far from the subway station, but the environment is comfortable and quiet, unlike the Hong Kong general beauty company. The waiter carefully explained and smiled, providing a suitable Korean formula bath according to his personal physique. The beautician and masseur have moderate hand gestures. The physical fitness test is also very accurate. It is also given an English-language interpretation of the translation. After the completion, the hot tea with the right personal physique is very careful. There are also small gifts. 😊

The content was very good, but the treatment started without much explanation overall, so I thought it would have been better if there had been a little more explanation overall, like, "What is this tingling sensation?" or "What effect does this cool mask have?" The treatment itself was good!

Maybe I had too high expectations because it was a Korean herbal massage. After a quick check, I was given a printout with my type of massage characteristics and went to the massage room. I didn't know if the massage was appropriate for that, and the massage ended in silence. There was no shower facility, so it felt like I just got a massage and left, and it was difficult to speak Japanese. It was a bit disappointing considering the price.
