Taiwan 3-Day Tour｜Alishan, Sun Moon Lake & Cingjing Farm | Depart from Chiayi

we were looking to tour Alishan and sun moon lake but too lazy to plan. thank goodness we selected this tour. this is so organised. they touch base with us the moment we ordered the tour and keep us updated of the clothes to prepare in advance. upon meeting our first driver...we were given a folder with our itineary hotel vouchers and tickets to the attractions and transport. this is most useful as we didnt need to queue in the wee hours for the only sunrise train in Alishan. ive met some who didnt get manage to buy tix. the big bonus was the Cingjin theme park..the scenery is breathtaking. i cannot recommend this tour enough. kudos to the tour company Ai Wan Mei for fantastic itinearary. oh yes all 3 drivers are very professional and knowledgeable. they double up as our guides.

Went for the 3 day tour from Alishan to sunmoonlake then to cingjing farm. Thankfully despite the typhoon, we managed to hit all the places we wanted to. Though it was raining, we felt that the itinerary was well planned and mapped out. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Pity it wasn’t our day for the sunrise at Alishan as well. Shout out to the driver Mr Luo for the good conversations along the way up the mountains and also back to the HSR station!

A compact and well organized itinerary covering attractions that may otherwise prove challenging to reach logistically. The two assigned drivers (Mr Wang and Mr Luo) are both excellent, their vehicles in excellent condition. I’d heartily recommend this trip with this company to anyone looking to explore Alishan, Sun Moon Lake, and the Qingjing Farm.

Alishan and the farm was nice. Some activities were self guided eg Alishan sunrise viewing, sun moon lake visit and farm tour so very important to listen to the verbal instructions. Mr Wu, the Alishan guide was so dedicated that he continued to give the tour for more than 3hrs in the rain as the group wanted it. Accomodations were acceptable. The drivers were very professional and helpful, especially Daxiong who returned back to the Taichung Train station to return my son his wallet which he dropped his wallet in his car. Kudos to him and Amy from the tour company for being so responsive.

A very well planned and comprehensive tour! Appreciate that the tour company (Amy) texted us everyday to provide details about the itinerary for the next day. Loved that transport (a 9-seater van) is provided for the entire journey. Really enjoyed the Alishan 3hr walking tour, do take note though it requires some walking, especially up the stairs/slopes in the mountaineous area where oxygen is quite thin. Tour guide Mr Wu tends to spend more time talking and introducing the tour at a same spot hence it became quite rushed at the very end as we had to walk quickly (up and down slopes) to catch the last bus back to Alishan recreation area. Sun moon lake and Qingjing farm itinerary was fun and not too rushed as well. Hotel provided was ok to stay at too. Driver 大熊师傅 is very knowledgeable too! Highly recommended for first timers as it is quite tough to plan for Alishan.

My husband and I had a great time with this tour. Able to see lots in those three days. Saved lots of energy and time in figuring out the transportation and accommodation. The scheduled time for each attractions were just right. We feel that we have enough time for each site we visited. Tour was organized too. Got messages via LINE for the meet up time / spots ahead of time each time. Highly recommended!

This tour covers entrance tickets, accommodation, a few meals, and transportation between a number of famous Formasan sights, which would otherwise be hard to plan by public transport. The price is hard to beat - even if we were to plan it ourselves, it would be hard to get a better deal than this package. Instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the drivers were professional and friendly (especially 张先生 from Chiayi).

If you want to travel to these locations and had trouble planning, just book this! The local travel agency is very responsive and flexible in the arrangement. As my hotel location was near the agency, they offered to pick us up from my hotel directly. This saved us lots of time and trouble. Once you are with them, the transportation, accommodation and food (breakfast and dinner) are well taken care of for the next 2 days. It was a long and comfortable journey up and down the mountains. I like the fact that they have different drivers fetching us from point to point. This makes the long journey safer as the drivers are fresh and alert. The only downside of the trip is that the facilities at the accommodation are pretty basic. It is fine for me as the trip is mainly for sightseeing purposes and the price point is really reasonable.
