Reasonably priced, a good amount food of good quality, and a great selection of teas for afternoon tea. Regarding the decor, I was expecting it to be a bit more opulent or fancier, considering it is the Mandarin Oriental. Nevertheless, it was a great experience.

The lounge was quiet, pleasant atmosphere and they were very attentive to make sure our tea pots are filled with hot water over two hour stay. Only thing is we might prefer small sweets for each, not one piece regular-sized cake for two people to share.

I arrived about 30 minutes earlier than my reservation time, but they asked if I could come in because there was a seat available, and I was able to go right in. They were very accommodating, even with my broken English, and I had a very relaxing time. The scones came with Mandarin's famous rose petal jam, and were delicious.
