Kinmen | Shamei Old Street Hanfu ∙ Cheongsam Experience & Optional Transfer | In the Mood for Love

I wrote a longer review on Google Maps, but basically this was a super fun experience. The owner is so kind and generous. I was by myself and could only speak English, but she made me feel just as welcome as anyone else. I can't recommend it enough! Really fun and an incredible value! :)

We were initially a bit unhappy about the pick-up and drop-off issue, but thankfully the landlady helped to make arrangements, and a car was sent to pick us up and take us to Huayang Nianhua. The landlady was incredibly warm and lovely; she even took time out of her busy schedule to take us out for delicious food and then drove us back to our accommodation.

The owner recommended suitable clothes and helped take photos, giving guidance on how to take better photos. The process was natural and not forced, which was a great experience!

We are grateful for this service that has left us with happy and beautiful memories. The hostess not only helps us choose suitable gorgeous clothes, but also uses the most beautiful makeup and the most warm photography techniques to present the most perfect photo records.

The owner is so nice! Since there were no other customers that day, she thoughtfully took us on a photo tour around Samet. My parents were shy and just wanted to take photos outside, but with the owner's guidance (which was great for creating emotional value), we didn't feel shy at all! She took photos the entire time, guiding us through the moves, saving us the trouble of navigating the path in the scorching sun. It was amazing! The original price included costume rental and styling, but if you wanted makeup, the owner only charged NT$100 for a simple foundation, concealer, blush, eyeliner, and lipstick, which was more than enough. The shop is small and a bit cluttered, but after we changed into our costumes, the owner had another indoor photo booth, so we took some beautiful photos! A must-do for anyone visiting Samet! (The owner only takes photos when she's not busy; if she's busy, you'll have to find a spot outside to take photos.) Finally, the owner even made a simple 15-second video (with background music) for us as a souvenir! Definitely more than 100 points of service!
