The trip to Jibei is worth the experience! People at Chikhan warf were very helpful in directing me to the ferry and explaining where I should go. The scooter rental didn't speak english but we managed to communicate with a translator app. The water sports activities are very fun and the beach is quite nice. I recommend using the remaining time for exploring around the small island by scooter. You'll have some unordinary sights of the sea and many beaches around the island. Most of all, the entire experience is very inexpensive, so if you're on Penghu, I certainly recommend trying this out.

Everything was on time and went smoothly. I highly recommend it, just remember they don't have English speaking guides, but it wasn't a problem to me. The water activities were fun 😊

The return time is not necessarily in the peak season. You can call the boatman first to ask if the boat is open. The overall experience is good.

This time I chose to take the 8:30am boat, and went to Mudou Island to see the lighthouse. I stayed at the beach for about half an hour to soak my feet and play in the water. The blue sea, blue sky and white clouds were beautiful in every shot! Finally, I took the 14:00 boat back, which was just the right time~

It rents electric bicycles but it is quite convenient. The bosses are very friendly.

The water quality of Mudou Island is really super clear and ranked first! The main island is also great, but this one is even better! However, walking barefoot on the beach will hurt, and it is not as comfortable as the main island of Penghu~Remember to change into slippers. If you are not interested in the lighthouse or taking pictures, you can skip this place😂It is more suitable for tourists who are not visiting Penghu for the first time. Jibei Island is really boring. You can ride a motorcycle around the island in one go, and you don’t know what to see😅 It is recommended to play water activities! Although I chose the 16:00 boat, I was notified that the 16:00 boat was full that morning and I had to take the 17:00 boat instead. It affected the next itinerary a little, but I took the latest boat back, and all the tourists on the day trip were gone. It was really fun to play unlimited times! No need to queue, you can play whatever you want, you can play everything, it's awesome~~ The coaches of water sports are very nice👍 When there's no one around, they will ask "Do you want to play this?" "Do you want to play again?"XD If you want to play powered snorkeling, remember to bring your own mouthpiece, or buy one on site for $80/each. If you have bought a Decathlon snorkeling mask, you can also use it. There are some (dead?) coral formations to see, but not many fish.

Every time I go to Penghu, it is very healing. It is a place suitable for watching the sea, watching the sky and getting a good tan. It was just 10 years ago that I went there. There were fewer corals and shells. The introduction staff not only told everyone not to pick up corals to take home, but also said that you can pick up shells to take home. I was dumbfounded. Please leave any beauty in Penghu. Please everyone. There was a lot of garbage this time, so sad. Also, the jet ski and boat crew were smoking, which was a bad feeling. It was out of tune with this beautiful place.

This time we had Shawei to ourselves. The scenery was so beautiful to take photos. If you haven't been here, you won't believe this is Taiwan.

We booked the earliest boat and were the first group to wear equipment and play water sports that day. It is highly recommended to buy the earliest one so that you don’t have to queue. You can enjoy water sports crazily for the first hour, and then do snorkeling and SUP experience (the SUP is not fun without a coach, so you have to pay attention to your own safety). Those who come after 11 o'clock have to queue for life jackets because there are not enough. You have to wait until others have finished playing before you can go into the water. The queuing time is also extended by at least 10 minutes (10 minutes under the sun is not a joke). Therefore, it is strongly recommended to rush to the first boat, and you can return after lunch or slowly explore the beauty of Jibei❤️
