[Limited Time Only] Kaohsiung Shoushan Limestone Cave Guided Tour with Gears

Booked the half-day tour and it took until 12:40, so we even spent more time than expected. There is a vertical crevasse we scaled in the first cave and with my weight (83kg, European musculuar build) it was barely possible to get though which was an amazing achievement. Absolute recommendation.

My friend and I enjoyed the cave exploration v much, thanks to the instructor. Great to hear history, flora and fauna histories of Shoushan, and make friends too.

Mr Chen is a v experienced instructor, and set a v good balance between sharing knowledge of Shoushan and guiding us in the cave explorations. We went to three caves, and every cave experience is different.

The guide was very informative and I really learned a lot about the history and background of the monkey hill. Thank you for the fun trip!

I did this tour together with two friends and we really enjoyed it. The guide split made a small group to give us the best possible experience. He took his daughter with him, who translated for us from Chinese to English and even spoke German! We visited three caves and all of them were very impressive in their own way. While the first had an entrance which required some climbing to get in, the second was easy to enter but offered a extra climb for those who wanted to. In the last cave volunteers could climb though a very small opening that required some endurance to master. With great support form the guide and my friends I was able to make it through. The guide provided a lot of knowledge about the local flora and fauna and is very experienced. Thank you for this great day!

It was a fantastic experience. The rangers were incredibly professional. Having lived in Kaohsiung for so many years, this was truly my first time experiencing caving – it was so much fun!

Instructor Chen is very professional! The entire activity was very fulfilling, and the safety of the trainees was also well taken care of.

I took my nine-year-old and seven-year-old daughters on a half-day tour. The trip involved hiking and cave exploration, but the physical demands were manageable for the children. Although there were monkeys along the way and the caves were narrow, it was safe as long as there were professional instructors leading the way. It was a fun and adventurous trip.
