The glacier trip was the part I was most looking forward to this time. Due to the geographical location of my hometown, I couldn't enjoy this kind of scenery, so I was looking forward to coming to New Zealand this time. The glaciers were really shocking and beautiful.

Originally we were going to take a helicopter to the Fox Glacier and go up to the glacier, but unfortunately we couldn't make the trip due to bad weather. Then when we got to Mount Cook, we had to complete this trip, so we decided to do it again. Fortunately, the weather was very good. The entire reception and the guides on the glacier were very professional and gave us a lot of assistance. Although we were wearing jeans, the company had windproof jackets, hiking shoes, socks, sunglasses and other equipment that we could borrow, so don't worry. The scenery on the glacier is very spectacular and I think it is worth a visit.

My first glacier hike was very interesting. The instructor is very nice. When teaching how to put on crampons, because the English is too broken to understand, the instructor will confirm whether the method of putting on crampons is correct. On the way back, he took the co-pilot position in the helicopter, and the scenery in front of him was very magnificent. If you have reserved a pick-up service, it is recommended to confirm the pick-up information when confirming the itinerary the day before.

The experience of riding a helicopter for the first time was very interesting. It felt a bit like riding a roller coaster at first, but it was quite smooth after the ascent.
