Very enjoy the whole journey, tour guide very nice and helpful

A Hong was our tour guide and we chose to do the 8 hour chartered car trip to Yangmingshan. We got to choose which attractions to visit and he even accommodated a last minute change because we especially wanted to see the wild cows on Qing Tian Gang (highly recommend). A major highlight was lunch at a local restaurant he recommended—authentic, delicious, and far away from the usual tourist traps. The best meal of the trip. If you want to experience the 'local' side of the mountains without the hassle of buses, this is a must-book!

Our vehicle was a Toyota RAV4 as it was only us and another couple (4 pax). The driver was an excellent guide. Very friendly and chatty, and of course very knowledgeable too. He did a wonderful job of guiding us to the various visit places, even though it rained a fair bit at Yangminshan.

Enjoyable trip with great scenery! We were lucky to visit Yangmingshan when the weather was sunny and the sky was clear, allowing us to see Taipei City. Special shout out to our driver cum guide Brother Han. 韩哥。 He took very good care of us, ensuring we were comfortable and enjoyed the trip. He gave us good pointers & tips for each attraction and took nice photos for us.

We booked a chartered car day trip to Yangmingshan. Driver Mr Chen Shihong came before the pick up time and waited for us at the hotel lobby. He was friendly and enthusiastic. Along the way to YMS, he talked about YMS and other attractions in Taipei. Along the way, he even drove us to look at the Grand Hotel and talked about the significance of this hotel. As we reached YMS, he helped us to take photos, showed us the attractions, brought us to a nice place for lunch. We were able to complete all tractions as stated in the itinerary and since it was still not 6pm yet; Mr Chen even brought us to one free hot spring pool to dip our feet. Overall, we are very satisfied with the services and highly recommend this day trip and driver.

Han Ge, our tour guide and driver, was very humorous and talkative. He kept taking pictures for us and gave us a lot of travel advice. It was a very good day trip, definitely more than 5 stars 🫶

With a private car, we don't have to worry about traffic or parking. The driver adjusted the order of attractions based on past holiday experience, so that we can have plenty of time to visit each attraction!

This shared transport allows us to cover more places. Just that we don't have enough time to visit qingtiangang grassland trail.
