Atami is less know to many. This place has many zakura in Jan - Feb. Went there to catch early cherry blossom and visit ACAO forest. The nail oil making is enjoyable. Can choose 1 essential oil a few dried flowers and herbs to decorate the nail oil. Staff is friendly and patient. Satisfied with the final product.

I was told that Akao Forest is recommended for a walk in Atami, so I went there. It was very spacious and pleasant, and although the roses were not in full bloom yet, I was able to take many photos of the beautiful scenery and the blooming roses, so I was very satisfied.

I was planning to stop by ACAO FOREST the day after staying at New ACAO, so I asked the hotel about the price of the advance tickets, and they said it was 200 yen more expensive per person than KKday. Why?!

We went in the spring, so there were lots of flowers and young leaves in bloom, and we were able to feel refreshed by strolling in the great outdoors!

We were blessed with good weather and the art in the mountains was amazing. It would have been even better if we could have had lunch inside. We also took some great photos at the photo spots.

Akao Forest during Golden Week. The roses are still a little ways from full bloom, but there are still some here and there that are in full bloom... Still, the cute flowers, such as pansies, Japanese snowbells, lupines and wisteria, are soothing. Above all, the view of Hatsushima Island and Atami Castle is open and lovely. There are lots of photo spots here and there, which was fun. I made my own original fragrance at the craft studio. After much deliberation, I was satisfied with the scent I liked.
