I don't think you can enjoy Ayutthaya if you will DIY it. Booking this tour is a must. Nicky is a very fun and educational tour guide. No dull moments with her. There were Chinese tourists during our tour so she also spoke in Chinese.

As expected from My Pro Guide, the trip was very smooth and seamless although a little improvement with coordination during the meet-up process as there were a lot of guides present in the same cafe so it causes confusion to the traveller. TOUR GUIDE NICKY is very great and patient especially in explaning history -- which I learned a lot! She has also been very caring to travellers which is seen all throughout the trip. Due to her experience, she was also able to impart the things that you need to do or not to do which was very helpful. Tour wise, as a solo traveller here are some of my tips. For Bang Pa In Palace, you have a chance to not avail the golf cart and just go to the red circles in the map provided. For other temples, make sure to wear decent clothes, bring fan (super necessary), and sunblock!
