Intramuros & Tagaytay Day Tour from Manila | Philippines

It was a tour where you could enjoy history and nature at the same time. In Intramuros, we felt the rich history of the Philippines, and in Tagaytay, we enjoyed the magnificent view of Taal Volcano, one of the world's smallest active volcanoes. We took a jeepney to the "Palace in the Sky" and enjoyed visiting fruit stands and shopping for pasalubong (sweets souvenirs). There were many activities and we were very satisfied. [Guide's response] The guide was kind and cheerful, and used a translation app to explain things to us who didn't understand English. In addition, he was also very considerate in taking photos of each tourist spot. [Food] We enjoyed Tagaytay's specialty buko pie (coconut pie) and tastings at a fruit stand. We were also taken to a cafe that Taylor Swift is said to have visited and a lunch spot of our choice (lunch costs were at our own expense). [Transportation] We traveled comfortably in an 11-seater microbus (including auxiliary seats), with one driver, two guides, and five participants. [Points that were particularly good] • The friendliness of the guide and the support for taking photos • The content was more fulfilling than we expected • Even though I'm not good at English, I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind [Points for improvement] • The advance notification email arrived at 9:30pm the day before, and I only realized it in the morning • The reservation site said we would be picked up at 8am, but it was actually 7am (it was good in the end because they picked us up early) → I think it would be more reassuring if they had contacted us around noon the day before. It was a very satisfying tour. If I have the opportunity to go to the Philippines again, I would definitely like to participate!

Although I wasn't very good at English, the guide was very kind and considerate.

The guides were very enthusiastic and kind, so we enjoyed feeding the fish and tasting the pie. However, we were confused when they enthusiastically recommended that we take a boat ride for 1500 pesos on the way. The tour ended later than scheduled, just after 8pm. Some of the participants were dissatisfied because there was no clear explanation or confirmation beforehand. After we expressed our dissatisfaction, one of the guides' attitude changed drastically, and at the end, he didn't even thank us. The tour itself was not bad, but it left us with a bad memory and we were very disappointed.
