Great for traveling around

The BritRail England Pass is a useful pass when you are travelling extensively on the train system (e.g. York, Salisbury, Bath). We were also able to use this on the Heathrow Express train. The ticket is a QR code you scan at the ticket gates. Sometimes it did not scan and we had to go through the ticket gate agent.

I pity the locals who can't use this pass. The QR code is very convenient. You need to go to the counter and print it with a physical ticket. However, sometimes the gate is scanned to the red light, and the quarantine staff opens the door to enter. Beware that the BritRail England pass can only be in the range of England, and wales, Scotland (Edinburgh) can get there. I will definitely buy it next time! Because it is cheap and convenient.
