There is so many people queuing and waiting for the entry to the church. This order saves us a lot of time from queuing that is good for money!

If you don't want to queue early in the morning to enter St. Peter's Basilica, this tour is a great option. Your guide will lead you through the crowds and directly into the basilica. He or she will also spend about an hour explaining the basilica's artistic and religious aspects. However, this ticket doesn't include access to the chandelier; this is a separate expense. If you'd like to enter the catacombs, please contact your guide.

Mario is humorous and witty, and he makes the historical stories of the Pope and the Church vivid and interesting. From the catacombs to the interior of the church, and finally to the elevator where we could climb up to the dome on our own. About 50% to 60% of people visit in winter, and I believe there must be even more people in the popular summer. Your English listening ability must be above intermediate level to be able to understand it a little bit!

The tour guide's explanations are very detailed, and he will provide his own pictures and information for supplementary explanations when appropriate. The precautions for climbing to the top are also repeatedly emphasized. When we were about to start climbing to the top, I suddenly had the idea of running away, but other members of the group also cheered each other up. Although the weather was not very good, it was really worth it after successfully climbing to the top.

Magnificnet view! A place you definitely need to go while you are in Rome, or Vatican. Very fortunately, we had the best tour guide I have ever met during my stay in Rome, Sonia. She is so knowledgeable, and explain everything regarding history, architecture so clearly. What a blessing.
