Ashikaga Flower Park - Garden of Illuminated Flowers Admission Ticket｜Ashikaga, Tochigi

We went there during Wisteria season, and stayed daytime and nightie for the illumination. If you love flowers you will love this place. They advertise Wisteria but they have countless of other beautiful flowers. Totally recommended. We cane via train but both ways train was surprisingly almost empty. Most people go there via car apparently. Enjoy!

Despite its crowd (given that we went during the golden week), the place was really nice and refreshing to walk around. The wisterias were not in its fullest bloom, but the other flowers made up for it. The demographic of this park is mostly geriatric age so be respectful of them, and they are also sweet people.

Although there was actually no line at the ticket counters when I got there, prepayment via KKDay ensured that I need not line up when I got there. I just showed the bar code for immediate entry.

The most beautiful flower park I’ve ever been to

We visited the flower park at its peak flowering during the wisteria season. The beauty of this place just cannot be captured in enough words or pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed the various sights and aromas of literally hundreds of thousands of flowers. We had a toddler and an infant and had a bit of trouble finding sitting/feeding spots (though understandable given the peak season).

The Flower park has its own train station the entrance is a short walk away. Upon arriving the staff checking the tickets give you a map. The park was a very nice size we were there over 2 hours. We took so many pictures. The food was okay but that’s understandable. All the flowers and trees were so stunning it felt like a dream. The roses were not in bloom so it’s a place you can go multiple times to enjoy.

We visited at night and the park was beautiful. Be mindful that the transit from Tokyo is longer than how much time you will spend looking at the park as it is not so big. That being said we had a great time and the garden was set up beautifully.
