This has to be one of the most interesting tours we have participated in. The tour guide charlotte described the sights that came along and even sang and read poems to entertain us. Highly recommended tour.

Can see the viaduct from far, and management to see the train slowing going through it. The guide also showed the different movie scene from the scenery while we were in the bus. Overall experience is good!

Our driver and tour guide Conner was very funny and professional (lots of British humor and jokes). If your English listening skills are not very good (like mine), you can use Chat GPT recording to produce an English verbatim transcript and then ask GPT to translate it into Chinese (the accuracy is pretty good). The weather in Scotland is changeable. When we participated in mid-August, it was still raining heavily and foggy in the morning, so we needed to wear thick coats and woolen hats. When the sun came out in the afternoon, there were blue skies and white clouds, and the scenery was beautiful, so short sleeves were enough. On the way, we will arrange lunch time in Fort William for about 40-50 minutes, and find a restaurant/café/McDonald's to eat by yourself. ❗️It should be noted that the toilet at Fort William Railway Station requires 20P coins per person (I am used to using credit cards in Edinburgh, and I only have banknotes and no copper coins with me XD) The place to watch Harry's Train is actually a bit far away, it seems It's a bit small, and it takes about 5 minutes to climb up. Remember to wear good walking shoes. The view of the lake (also the lake view of Hogwarts) after climbing up is very beautiful! After reaching the highlands, the road is winding and bumpy, so those who are prone to motion sickness are advised to bring motion sickness pills. Although the drive takes a long time, the beautiful scenery of the Scottish Highlands is well worth it!

The tour guide is well prepared and explains clearly. Arrive at Glenfinnan Viaduct just in time to see the steam train passing by.

This is my first time traveling alone and participating in a one-day tour. The 12-hour journey sounds very demanding, but the magnificent scenery along the way in Scotland and the humorous commentary by the tour guide and driver along the way made this trip perfect and the atmosphere very relaxed. This time, we were lucky that the weather was very good, and the passengers in the same group were basically friendly and cooperative. I think the tour guide made perfect and safe arrangements within the controllable range. If it’s a rare trip to Scotland and it’s not a self-driving tour, don’t hesitate to sign up for a day trip!

Although the tour is in English, it is very clear, and the tour guide is a girl and very humorous ~ I think it is really worth it, because the tour guide said that he will try his best to help you with whatever tasks you want to complete during this trip, so Not only did we watch the Harry Potter train, but we went back and forth twice, and then we also saw the cute Highland cattle and fed the cute Highland calves. It was really great! The key point is that I also clearly understood the history related to the scenic spots I visited. In short, it is highly recommended😇
