We saw some dolphins around. Hopefully next time will see the whales

We had a nice boat ride overall. The transportation service was very convenient and as soon as we got there, we lined up to get on board. We saw some dolphins, but sadly no whales :(. Maybe better luck next time!

We saw 2 different dolphins on this trip. Too bad we didnt get to see any whale. It's a short sweet trip.

The bus driver speak English well. He picked up on-time at my desired locatio. The cruise also looks safety. The cruise driver always points at good spot. Dolphins are cute and energetic. I do not know Chinese, but I can know where to look dophins when the cruise driver notices passages.

didnt get to see any whales but we saw abt 30 dolphins flipping around putting a great show for us! It was so magical I wanted to tear. It was highlight of my entire Hualien trip and one of highlights in my life!

Easy experience but communication could be improved. Didn't manage to catch any whales in the sea. It depends on your luck.

Sign up the night before and depart the next day, with transportation included. First, you'll receive a whale watching briefing, focusing on natural whale watching, identification, and recording. It also covers common whale and dolphin species. Since the briefing is only in Mandarin, international visitors may need to translate it themselves. Life jackets are required upon boarding the boat. Once you exit the Taiwan Strait, you'll enter the Pacific Ocean, and the waves can be quite rough, so it's recommended to take sea sickness pills in advance. The captain will notify you if you spot cetaceans. We were lucky enough to see spinner dolphins and a small sperm whale. Although there are three tours per day, you may not always see them, and even if you do, it may not be the same pod. If the weather is good, it's worth a try.

One of our main goals for this trip to Hualien was whale watching. We joined the 1:30 PM trip on August 24th. After departure, a professional guide on board provided guidance. The whole family was eagerly anticipating the sighting, and the excitement peaked when the whales and dolphins appeared. We saw numerous whales and dolphins along the way, creating a lively atmosphere. We returned to our departure point around 3:30 PM.

The itinerary includes round-trip hotel transfers, which is very convenient. There is plenty of time. The itinerary is clear and enjoyable. After the whale watching trip, there is hot and delicious fish soup. It is worth the money.
