Da Nang Surfing or SUP Lesson Experience at Surf Shack

I came to take surf lessons by myself during my family's first trip to Da Nang 😊 I was able to get there smoothly without getting lost because I could get there by Grab! There are changing rooms, showers, hairdryers, and lockers, so you don't need to bring anything special except your swimsuit and a change of clothes. I even forgot to put my wet swimsuit in a plastic bag to take home lol I went to try it out in May, but the waves seem to be calm, so I'm not sure if it's suitable for surfing... However, it seems that there are good days depending on the day. It seems that March is the best time 🙆 The temperature is over 30° and the UV rays are obviously strong, so my skin is burned, and the night after I took the one-hour lesson, my back was sunburned and hurt so much that I couldn't just apply a little sunscreen, but I'm sure it will burn me. lol It may be better to wear a hat or long sleeves to avoid exposing your skin as much as possible. I had lessons for two days, and it was very kind and reassuring to be supported in Japanese 🌸 The sea is very clear and very clean, and there is no floating trash. Apparently there are times when the water is clearer and more beautiful🏖️ The beach is wide and not as crowded as Oahu, and even beginners can easily enter, so please give it a try🏄🏄‍♀️🏄‍♂️ It was a lot of fun, so I'd like to practice in Japan and return around March🏖️

The locals taught me carefully in Japanese, so I had a fun surfing experience. The waves were just the right size and I was able to stand up and ride the waves many times. I would like to use this again if I have the opportunity to go to Da Nang.

I planned to go for only one day, but I ended up going for two days. I had a hard time doing it in Japan, but they told me what to do and what I was doing wrong, and I was able to get on the wave. The staff, the receptionist, and the owner were all very nice. I'd definitely like to come to Da Nang again.

The coach is very kind. He will give guidance according to the different situations of the students during the process. Although he can only communicate in English, he can generally understand. For those who don’t understand, the coach will give demonstrations and recommendations.

This is my first time to have a surfing. Although I can’t stand on the board, it was fun for 1.5 hrs. Very enjoyable!!

I was busy because I made a reservation the day before. There were many things I didn't understand, such as the email being sent to spam, the voucher not coming, and there were many things I didn't understand, but I managed to interact with them and enjoyed surfing for the first time.

Very nice and easy way to learn surfing. The Japanese teacher is very good 👍!
