Taipei Massage｜LOHAS Foot Spa | Near MRT Nanjing Fuxing Station

Had a wonderful 80 minute foot/body massage. Highly recommend this place and wish I could go back!

It's located 2-3 minutes from the hotel and the interior is very cute. It's more like a beauty salon than a place for those who want to experience retro Taiwan. The treatment was done by an older woman who did foot reflexology and full body massage. It was good overall, but I think the scalp massage was especially effective. When I returned to the hotel and looked in the mirror, the swelling in my face had gone down and my eyes were bigger. The only Japanese I could speak was this woman, and we could have a simple conversation.

I was looking for a nice place close to the hotel, so I decided on this one. I thought it would be difficult to decide on a time after sightseeing, so I asked for a treatment starting at 11:30. An older man took care of me, and when he realized I was Japanese, he explained everything to me in detail using the translation function on his phone. It was my first time getting a foot reflexology massage, but I was so impressed that he treated my feet so carefully! It wasn't that painful, but it felt nice and painful. An older man also took care of the oil massage, and although I was a little embarrassed, he carefully massaged my whole body. I felt at ease when he kept asking me in Japanese if it hurt. I felt like I was being pampered by getting a massage in the morning, but I regretted it a little, thinking that it would have been better if I had come after walking a lot all day.

I felt at ease because there were people who could speak Japanese! The massage was also very comfortable. The shop was very clean and nice.

I used it on the first day of my solo trip to Taiwan. I had to sit up all night on a bench at Haneda airport (lol) before boarding the flight, but my body was already old and sore from that. I even had a headache, so I read reviews and booked this place. I don't speak Japanese, but the masseuse explained it to me using Google Translate, so I had no problem understanding what was going to be done. They also asked me in advance where I was in pain. The acupressure on my feet wasn't that painful, but it really relieved my fatigue. I think it's suitable for people who don't like pain. I told them that my neck and shoulders were in pain, and they focused on massaging them, but the way they massaged the area around my neck and head was exquisite, and my headache went away and I felt refreshed.

My husband had a full body massage and I had a foot and full body massage. They serve herbal tea at any time and there was a foot bath before the foot massage. I was thinking about trying exfoliation, which wasn't included in the course, and they suggested that I could do it as an option halfway through and asked if I had time, so of course I did. I was very satisfied! It was past 10pm but customers kept coming in one after the other, so I could see why it's popular! The treatment was relaxing and very satisfying.

I tried other foot massages, but this one was mild and didn't hurt, so I recommend it to people who don't like pain. It was very thorough and comfortable. The full body massage was so good that I fell asleep halfway through. It was over in a flash. I would like to go again if I have the opportunity to go to Taiwan.

For the price the experience was more than we could expected, it was very nice and the place is very clean and welcoming. The staff is very kind and they did an amazing job. Would return again for sure!
