DMZ Demilitarized Zone Day Tour | Seoul

We are a Swedish family and had a great day trip from Seoul to DMZ, visiting the observatory, the hanging bridge, the 3rd tunnel, the Imjingak park, as well as one more stop along the way. Transportation was good with pick-up as well as drop-off from two locations. We were like 35 people in the group, but it still was very efficient, on time, but without being rushed, Despite the group size, our tour felt personal. Our guide (Jun) was very good, well informed, and gave us both insights and shared the feeling and sadness surrounding the diversion of the Korean Peninsula, as well as sharing info and facts regarding the different stops along the tour. In all, this was a very good day trip!

Katie's super friendly and lively. She gave us tons of interesting info about each spot we visit. Hope we can get her as our guide again on another tour.

Walking the third tunnel is an unique experience. Overall nice tour. There are two suspension bridges, we went to the one which overlook the river which is not the red bridge.

The tour guide was a Korean lady who could speak Chinese. She was very warm and friendly. She gave good explanations and tried to introduce the characteristics and highlights of each place in detail. My family felt that the one-day itinerary was very fulfilling and worth recommending.

We learn a lot from Charles who gave us a full historical background on the Korean War in 1950 and the origin of the DMZ. He was calm and polite in managing the group.

Miel was super passionate about the history of the conflict and communicated that passion to us. If you want to understand why the DMZ exists and have a glimpse of North Korea, don't hesitate!
