We had a great time snorkeling. At the first waiting area, sandwiches and cookies were provided, and we could eat pineapple and watermelon along the way.

During the Lunar New Year holiday, my family and I went on a half-day trip to Dandao Island in the morning. A special car picked us up from the hotel and took us to the pier. After checking the information, we listened to the tour guide explain the itinerary. Some biscuits, bread, fruits and drinks are provided at the pier. After a short rest, we boarded the boat and set off to Cat Island, where we stayed for about 30 minutes. We were originally going to the second island, but there were too many waves that day so we couldn’t go there, so the tour guide took us directly to the last stop. We went snorkeling at the last stop and saw a lot of fish. The children had a great time. The tour guide mainly explained in English and was very enthusiastic.

We participated in a half-day morning tour. The driver picked us up in the hotel van on time. It took more than an hour to drive to the pier. There were snacks, sandwiches, drinks and breakfast. There were three tour guides on the boat. There was even an uncle who spoke fluent Cantonese and took care of us throughout the process. They are all of multiple nationalities, including tourists from Korea, Japan and Russia, and the tours are explained in English. We visited three stops. The first one was Cat Island. There were about 30 cats. We chilled for an hour. The second stop was snorkeling in the center of the sea. Free swimming goggles were provided. There were not many fish, but the coral water quality was very good. It was worth experiencing. . We stayed on the last island for 1 hour and provided free watermelon, pineapple, and sandwich soda. You can enjoy water sports at your own expense. If you don’t like water sports very much, a half-day experience is enough. The sun is very hot, and you have to pay for a sun umbrella, so it is more cost-effective to buy wine or eat stir-fry in the restaurant. It’s a lot of fun and the service is very considerate. I recommend it to tourists who want to island hop.

My family made a reservation, but my daughter got sick, so my son and I went alone. First, we waited for about an hour after arriving at the port, and the boat was very narrow, so we sat very close to each other. The first and third beaches were very pretty and had a lot of fish, but my feet were covered in scratches because of the coral and rocks, so make sure to bring aqua shoes. And everything sold on the island and the seat fee were really high, and the bathroom was 20 baht, but it was dirty and rusted everywhere. The second place was to swim only in the sea, but on that day, the current was too strong and the sea was not clear, so there was almost nothing to see, and my body kept going in the opposite direction, making it difficult to get back to the boat. When I was alone, all of these things were fine, but when I went with a child, I was a bit cautious and felt uncomfortable. But I think my child playing with fish will be a good memory.
