View is great but superbly long queue for the ropeway. recommend to go in early morning or later afternoon to avoid queue

We arrived at 9.30am and there is already a long queue queuing for the ropeway. There is no express queue for those who bought the tickets online, so just join the queue. You do not need to collect the tickets first to join the queue, you can collect them when you queue till the ticketing booth. Overall, it's a scenic location to get good photos of Mount Fuji. Would love to visit again.

Visited during mid-Dec 2023. Reached around 10.30am, there was a queue from the top of the stairs to the main entrance, took us about 20 min to take the ropeway up. Easy to exchange for tickets at the counter, but need to weave through the queue and up the stairs to collect the tickets and go back down to queue again. It will be good to have someone to queue first and another to collect the tickets. View at the top is good to see Mt Fuji on a clear day, with a small shop selling souvenirs and ice cream. When we came down at 11+ am, there was an even longer queue to enter.

We were blessed to have a clear view of Mt Fuji when we ascended. Do trek up to enjoy the silence of the forest. There were warnings of a bear so we didn't dare to venture too deep into the forest. Only disappointing parts were the crowd and no Cremia ice cream. Yummy cookie shop and udon restaurant on the same street a short distance away from the boarding and alighting point.

It was my first time to visit Lake Kawaguchi. I took the "Fuji Panoramic Cable Car" and arrived at the Mount Fuji Observation Deck. It was so beautiful! QR code redemption is very convenient! 👍🏻
