Jiufen Old Street & Yehliu Geopark Day Tour from Taipei

This tour gave us all the experiences in one day! Te bus was modern and clean. The driver was courteous, skillful, and ensured we got to every stop on time. The tour guide was professional and spoke Mandarin, English, and Japanese. There was no sales pitch at all, and we got to visit 5 different places including a train ticket from Pinxin to Houtong. it was the best tour we ever joined!

Overall, it was a great experience. The tour guide was very enthusiastic and proactive in explaining what we saw. My only suggestion is whether it's possible to start earlier and spend more time at the attractions before Jiufen, perhaps an extra 10-15 minutes. For someone like me who prefers to appreciate scenery at a leisurely pace, that would have been a bit rushed.

Our guide Florence Tsai was excellent in switching between mandarin and English, helping us to appreciate Taiwanese culture, food and history. The itinerary is a little rush but it’s good opportunity for us to recce the locations so that we can consider where to invest more time when we return to Taipei again. The bus was comfortable and safe despite the winding roads up and down Jiufen on a rainy day. Kudos to the driver Mr Huang! My kids 6 and 9 years old napped comfortably on the bus! Many food, sightseeing and activities during the trip like “walking on Mars” in Yehliu, raising a lantern in Shifen, feeding cats in Houtong and enjoying tea and street food in Jiufen. Never a dull moment. Highly recommended!

The transportation is well coordinated. The guide's positive energy also uplift the mood of the guests despite the tiring but fulfilling tour. Yehliu-Shifen-Houtong-Jiufen is a must if it is your first time in Taiwan ❤️

It’s my second time visiting northern taiwan and still in awe just like the first time. Our tour guide, Ms. Sherry, was fantastic and made our tour unforgettable. She’s approachable, attentive and very knowledgeable about each stops. I had so much fun visiting each place. Yehliu & its rock formations are breathtaking. Shifen Waterfall was mesmerizing and had so much fun releasing a sky lantern in the Shifen Old Street. If you are a cat lover, you will love Houtong Cat Village! I love that we rode the train from shifen station going to houtong, the train ride was very nostalgic. Feels like i was transported to the old times. Jiufen Old Street was perfect to end the day. The narrow alleys, glowing lanterns & delicious food made it feel like stepping into a movie scene. So glad I had seen d infamous tea house bcos i wasnt able to see it in my first visit. It definitely took my spirit away!

This Jiufen tour group is really great! The tour guide was very professional and enthusiastic. He not only explained a lot of interesting history and culture, but also arranged time considerately so that we could leisurely enjoy the beautiful scenery and taste the food. The whole trip was smooth and fulfilling, highly recommended!

It was a hassle free trip. Lily took care of us and ensured that we were never lost . She was patient friendly and told us the best place to go and the history of the places that we visited. The bus was very comfortable and the tour group size was small enough so that everyone did not have to wait too long for everyone

This was the perfect day trip from Taipei! It was definitely the fastest and most convenient way to visit Shifen, Houtong and Jiufen. Our guide, Anne, was the best! She was so knowledgeable, funny and considerate. I really cannot say enough good things about her!

A nice one day tour. Laurent was very nice and helpful. He always made sure we got to do all the things we wanted to do in the towns and took many pictures for us. Shifen was fun even with so many people. Houtong was not my favorite but it was short. There wasn’t much to do in the town with limited amount of time. You couldn’t go off too far. Jiufen was magical like a town from the story books. I would definitely do another tour with them

We truly enjoyed the trip with our tour guide, Eva. She is knowledgable, patient and amiable. She takes care every single of us from speaking different language, introducing places interestingly and ensure everyone is safe.
