Oslob Whale Shark Snorkeling and Kawasan Falls Canyoneering Day Tour | Cebu, Philippines

Whale watching and waterfall tracing are must-do tours in Cebu. The driver picked us up at the hotel on time. His driving skills were fast but safe, and I snored in the car. Whale watching at close range is really shocking. If you are a good swimmer or can free dive, you can get closer and take photos. The tour guide for Kawasan Falls creek tracing was really considerate and professional. He was great at taking photos and framing. My friends who were traveling with me were in better physical condition, so sometimes I had two tour guides to take care of me. They really took care of me in every possible way, and I felt at ease throughout the entire trip. Highly recommend purchasing this itinerary!

The tour to Oslob is really worthwhile despite leaving so so early in the morning. No regrets... Had a great time swimming with whale shark and doing the canyoneering in Kawasan Waterfall with great guide who is so responsible and great photographer.

First ever wonderful experience swimming with the whalesharks. The Whale Shark were really big. The only disadvantages are, the beach & place were too crowded with tourist. While swimming, one of the tourist accidentally kicked my head. Average experience were a mere 30minutes only, which is too short. People rowing the boats told us to be quick. And we felt that, the one handling the gopro were being forced to record our video eventhough we PAID for the gopro service. He only took 5 short videos of us, all videos less than 10seconds and it is very blurry! Disappointed Crowded and short. Overall experience 6/10

We were messaged the day before with our driver details and pick up time which was 2:30am. We arrived at Oslob at about 5:30am and went to get our waiting ticket number which was called at about 8am. We are simple breakfast which included egg, rice and meat while waiting. The whale shark experience is 30 mins and it was so much fun and such a unique experience. After that, we headed to go canyoneering where we got a motorcycle ride up a hill (which was exciting) from the parking spot in order to ride zipline across the mountain. Then we were off on our adventure through the canyons and beautiful waterfalls. The whole experience was so exciting and the highlight of our trip. Most of all, I want thank John and Mac our guides who made the experience even more special and fun. 🙂 highly recommend! *tho small warning for those with motion sickness: driver is speedy so the ride gets bumpy*

Both the whale shark snorkeling and kawasan falls canyoneering + a zip line = fun and exciting day! However do be prepared for a few hours of wait for the whale shark snorkeling as the queue can be very long, despite arriving at 5.00am! We only managed to start putting on our life jacket at 9.00am! The canyoneering pushes the adrenaline rush at its peak! Jumping off looks simple but taking that leap of faith, really needs a lot of courage x faith. As we stayed right at the end of Mactan, we were the first to board at 2.00am and reached back my hotel at 8.00pm - a whopping 18 hours 😅. All in all, it’s fun x exciting to the MAX!
