Begin your adventure with a pick-up from your hotel lobby or airport, and embark on a 2-hour journey to the Kinabalu Park Headquarters

Enjoy passing through villages and the panoramic vistas of the Crocker Range valleys

Along the way, stop briefly at Nabalu. Here, local natives gather to sell locally-produced goods, fruits, home-grown vegetables, and handicraft souvenirs

Check into the Kinabalu Pine Resort or similar accommodation

Spend the rest of the day at your leisure

Enjoy dinner at the resort's restaurant

Start your day with breakfast, then pack up and check out of the resort

Transfer to the Kinabalu Park Headquarters and collect your packed lunch

Your guide will manage all necessary registrations, assign you a mountain guide, and provide your ID TAG

Remember to wear your ID TAG at all times

You will then be transferred to the starting point – Timpohon Gate – where your journey to the summit of Borneo’s highest mountain begins! The climb will take approximately 4-5 hours

As you ascend, observe the changing vegetation zones, ranging from Oak and Chestnut to mossy and alpine vegetations

Arrive at Pendant hut at 3,289m and settle in

Attend the mandatory Via Ferrata briefing in Pendant Hut and meet your Mountain Torq trainer

Wake up for early supper and prepare for the day ahead

Continue your journey towards the summit of Mount Kinabalu

Reach Low's Peak at 4,095m and catch the magnificent sunrise

Begin your descent from Low’s Peak to meet your Walk the Torq trainer

Meet your trainer at Sayat Sayat Hut at 3,668m for the Walk the Torq Via Ferrata experience (French grade PD)

Return to Pendant Hut for a well earned late breakfast

Check out of Pendant Hut

Begin your descent to Timpohon Gate

Arrive at Timpohon Gate (estimated arrival time between 4:00-6:00 pm) and transfer to the headquarters to collect your certificate of achievement

Enjoy lunch in Kinabalu Park

Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu city. The journey takes approximately 2 hours
