In fact, this is more like a self-guided tour package, which provides round-trip transportation, farm admission tickets and lunch. The time is well arranged, and we don’t have to deal with the problem of buying tickets by ourselves. Although the farm is relatively small, most animals can be included. Walking around allowed us to get closer, and there was also a shopping area next to the farm restaurant. The quality of the lunch buffet was good, and there were many varieties, but the taste may not be suitable. It tends to be healthier, but the price of more than 300 was a good deal.

The whole journey is by bus. Just wait at the meeting point according to the time and show your ticket to the driver to get on the bus. The time schedule is very tight, and the time to stay in the Aso Crater is slightly insufficient, but overall, traveling from Kumamoto city to and from Aso Farm and the crater can be played in Aso Farm and the Crater in one day, which is still highly recommended.

Everyone should note that this is not a day tour, it is just that the agent helps you buy the bus tickets to get on and off the bus at the time. If you know how to buy, you can actually buy the tickets for the production and transportation bus by yourself. Because the time of this itinerary did not take into account the time of the volcano shuttle bus. Although Aso Volcano seemed to reserve 1.5 hours, I waited for the shuttle bus for half an hour after getting off the bus. It only took 20 minutes to watch the scenery. I have to catch the bus back to Kumamoto...so I don’t really recommend this itinerary.

Choose to get on the bus at Sakuramachi at 9:45 in the morning, arrive at Aso Farm at 11:06 to exchange meal coupons and animal farm tickets, and then go to have lunch. Fortunately, I chose the buffet on the 2nd floor for lunch, which has all-you-can-eat strawberries, so I saved the money for picking strawberries. After eating, I went to see the small animals. The animals are very small and it takes less than 30 minutes to visit them. Then go shopping and drink some fresh milk while waiting for the 2:06 bus to Aso Volcano. Arrive at the bus terminal at around 2:30 and wait for the 3:05 bus to the crater. The ride takes 5 minutes and you have to pay an additional one-way fare of 700 yen and a round trip fare of 1,400 yen. You can only stay for about 25 minutes, then take the shuttle bus down to the terminal and wait for the 4 o'clock bus back to Kumamoto Sakuramachi Terminal, which will arrive before 6 o'clock. It's a very leisurely trip.

After that, the wind and clouds surged and the fog surged until the smoke disappeared into the crater! I couldn’t visit the whole mountain😕 I don’t know if it’s luck or misfortune⋯I also took a photo of lightning🫣 The Aso Farm that this group went to is very suitable for taking children to discharge electricity😬; the included buffet definitely satisfies the stomach of the Chinese! The CP value is above average!

Tickets and a personal activity for lunch, actually I am OK :) My misfortune is that the weather is very bad, drizzling, went to Aso Farm, there are only 3,4 kittens, but the lunch is OK, sat in the restaurant for 2 hours. Went to Mount Aso, because of the fog, all activities were stopped. Stuck at the bus terminal, waiting for the bus to leave :(

This one-day trip is undoubtedly a good choice for our family of six, including the elderly and children, as it can avoid the trouble of transportation. But maybe my expectations for Aso Farm Paradise are too high. There is nothing particularly interesting about the farm, and the equipment is so rudimentary!
