The Hercules Cruise Ha Long Bay Day Tour offers a scenic and well-paced experience, starting with a pick-up from Hanoi. The itinerary includes a visit to a pearl-making shop (an additional stop not mentioned in the package) that lasts about 30 minutes—some may find this redundant if they are not expecting it. Afterward, the tour continues with visits to Ti Top Island, kayaking, and Sung Sot Cave. A highlight of the tour is the seafood buffet lunch, which receives a thumbs-up for its variety and quality. The cruise also features a jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing after exploring the attractions. Do note that the tour includes a toilet stop on the way to the harbor and another on the return trip to Hanoi. For kayaking, it’s important to bring a waterproof cover for your phone, as you’ll definitely need it. Overall, it’s a well-organized, enjoyable way to experience Ha Long Bay.

It is worth the slight upgrade in price as you get a lot more value vs the lower priced tours. The boat was wonderful I think it was the biggest one and the buffet was ok.

The experience this time was quite good. The tour guide Tinh (who looked a bit like the Douyin blogger Dong who I used to skate with on FB) was quite responsible and kept explaining the whole time. All the crew members were quite friendly. Departing from Halong Bay, take a Grab to Tuan Chau Pier by yourself. It is best to have WhatsApp so that the staff can contact you directly.

The tour guide Tinh is professional and attentive. The lift-seat bus is comfortable and easy to sleep in for a long drive. Hercules has plenty of food and drinks at reasonable prices. It is a comfortable one-day trip to Halong Bay.

To be honest, the weather was really bad on the day I set out. It was super cold (12-13 degrees) and drizzling all the time. I didn’t know it would be so cold in Vietnam🥲 I couldn’t take beautiful photos because of the weather, but the whole trip went smoothly. of! The tour guide Tinh is very attentive, all explanations are very clear, and he also gives a lot of honest advice 😂 For example, he explained that if you choose to kayak, you will definitely get wet because it is very cold that day. If you don’t bring clothes to change, you must think carefully about whether to paddle canoe. In the end, we chose to take a bamboo boat (included in the itinerary, no extra money required), which was also fun! In addition, the buffet lunch and afternoon tea on board are very good. Finally, remember to bring your own drinks on board. The buffet lunch on the boat does not include drinks, so you have to pay for them at your own expense~
