JR Pass: Tottori-Matsue Pass eMCO E-Ticket | Japan

I collected the pass using the ticket machine at Matsue Station. It was easy to collect and I was able to use this pass for 3 days between Matsue and Tottori.

Great Value for money. complement yr travel plan with WESTER app for scheduling. Train station staffs are all very helpful to assist ticket redeem & reserve seats

The Tottori-Matsue Pass was really useful since I am travelling through Yonago, Hokuei Town (Conan Village), Matsue, and Sakaiminato. I also was able to ride the Matsue Lakeline Bus for free with this pass and got around Matsue easily in the hot weather. the Matsue Lakeline Bus also have a special sunset route it was really good. the exchange process also was easy (I exchanged at Yonago Station).

This pass very worth it to travel on the limited express and local lines

I landed at Yonago Airport and the nearby JR station is unmanned. I paid ¥190 to go to Sakaiminato Station and easily redeemed the ticket in this very small station. Ed

Value for money since the area does not have shinkansen and only serviced by limited express trains that cost 3,000 yen already for 1 ride (the basic fare + limited express fee) especially when you want to visit key sights in Tottori and Shimane (Matsue and Izumo). I mostly stayed in Tottori and wasnt hassled of needing to pay in cash since they don’t accept IC cards yet.

I ordered the Tottori Matsue passes through KKday online website and got immediate confirmation and e-voucher with QR code on it. I ordered the passes in the morning and when I reached totorri station in the afternoon, I picked up the tickets from the Green Ticket Machine at the station by scanning the QR code shown in the e-voucher and Bravo! This pass is really worth it. You can take bus from Tottori to Yonago, Sakaiminato, Matsue and back and forth as you like. It also has reserved seats and city buses. I really have to give it ten 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

It is very convenient to pick up your ticket yourself using the MCO machine at the station. The three-day train ticket is worth ¥4,000. If you take the JR from Tottori Prefecture to Shimane Prefecture, it will be more than ¥4,000. It is more worthwhile to use it on the more expensive Yukumo or Haruku trains.
