I had an amazing experience with the kimono service in Kimonokan Asakusa! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure I found the perfect kimono that suited me. The dressing process was smooth and professional.

The landlady is very enthusiastic and will give a lot of suggestions. If this is your first experience, I highly recommend it.

We were on Saturday that day, made an appointment at 10, but was 30 minutes late due to unwellness, however we were very lucky that we did not queue. The day took about 30 minutes, I got dressed and fixed my hair, my boyfriend gave me a quick 15 minutes, they used styling water, so that my hair, could last all day, extra payment to add 300 for each Japanese yen, very happy journey. But it was very cold that day🆒

They have many kinds of kimono you can choose, and of course girl's has more options than guy's. The experience from entering the store, choosing, matching couple kimono color and accessories are fantastic and feeling thoughtful with both Michiko and Naomi's assistance! Hope I will go back again with friends to experience again! Highly recommend everyone to go visit!

The day we put on the kimonos happened to be the Sanja Festival in Sensoji Temple. We didn’t know we were chatting with the proprietress, but found out that it was the first day of the Sanja Festival. The proprietress helped us put on the kimonos and took us to see the mikoshi first. We felt that the experience was very Great! If you come to Asakusa, you can really come to this restaurant, it’s affordable and professional!

I visited last May 1st and received kimono rental service. I visited around 10:30 a.m. with my boyfriend, and the owner was really, really kind! He recommended kimonos that would look good and explained the types of kimonos in detail, which was very helpful in choosing a kimono that suited the weather. We mostly communicated in Japanese, but when I told them I was from Korea, they praised me for being good at Japanese, which made me feel embarrassed but happy haha. It was a difficult outfit that I would never have been able to wear on my own, but the owner helped me wear it very nicely! I was able to have a perfect kimono experience from head to toe because they took care of everything, including hairstyle and accessories, with great care and attention! I also loved that the store always had a cozy and fragrant smell! It probably smells like fabric softener left over after washing a kimono, but both the store and the clothes smelled good, so I was happy the whole time I was wearing it. It seemed like the owner was very diligent in taking care of his clothes! After returning the clothes, I remembered that I left my items at the store, so I went back and was touched to see that they had taken care of my items, thanking me for coming... Thanks to the kind and lovely owner, I made many fun memories in Asakusa on my first trip to Tokyo! If I have the chance next time, I want to visit again!! Thank you so much💕

Wearing a kimono while walking around Asakusa looks great no matter how you take photos, and you were asked to take a group photo with you, which is very interesting.
