Borobudur and Prambanan Temple Day Tour | Indonesia

The driver is very responsible. You need to pay extra for climbing to the top of Borobudur. I registered on the official website a month ago. I have a ticket when I arrive at the site at 8 o'clock. It takes 10:30. Drivers have access to h-tickets. If you don’t climb to the top, it will be in vain.

The view from the top was spectacular, and there were many stubas at the top, which was magnificent! There is no point in going here unless you go up the tower. I'm grateful to our driver, Febri, for arranging tickets to the top of Borobudur Temple at short notice!

Before this, I hired a local driver in Vietnam, but he couldn't speak English at all. However, this driver from Indonesia spoke good English, and the lunch was also good without pushing me to sell souvenirs.

We were able to visit 7 temples in total.

If it's called a tour, you might assume it includes a guide, but what's the difference between that and a 10 hour car rental? If so, isn't it expensive?

The day before departure, I was temporarily informed that the scenic spot would be closed the next day. Fortunately, I adjusted my itinerary in time and set off within an hour. I used Whatsapp to communicate throughout the whole process, and the responses were prompt. Basically we chartered a car for a day, and the driver finally took us to the restaurant. It is still recommended to buy a summit package for Borobudur. It is a pity that we did not reach the summit this time due to lack of time. Prambanan Temple is more exciting than Borobudur, so it is recommended to reserve more time for the visit. For lunch, you can buy it at the vendors outside the two attractions. There are quite a few options. Overall, the trip was very pleasant and comfortable, and it was worry-free and effortless.

This time, a driver is assigned. The English is simple and communicable, and the person is also very nice. Basically, you will park in a place that you can easily identify. The ticket money is already included and refunded to you. Basically, you are hiring a driver to take you to a designated location. I also suggest that Mr. Driver can improve his photography skills.
