I wanted to go to Victoria Peak, but the cable car was crowded. Considering my mother and child have trouble walking, I thought it would be better to go by car, so I requested a four-hour charter. I was given the option of English or Chinese, and I requested English. However, the driver/guide was a lovely woman who, coincidentally, also spoke a little Japanese, which made communication easy and very helpful. She contacted me via LINE the day before, asking me what places I wanted to visit and what I was interested in that morning, and provided me with suggestions with photos. Unfortunately, it rained on the day, which was a bit of a challenge, but we went to Man Mo Temple and Victoria Peak, which we had originally planned to visit, and then strolled around Temple Street afterwards. (Perhaps because of the rain, both the cable car and Victoria Peak were empty.) I still hadn't exchanged money, so she took me to the currency exchange office. I wanted to have dim sum for dinner, so she showed me a popular restaurant. It was a wonderful experience. One thing to note is that traffic in Hong Kong can be quite heavy in the evenings, so be careful. *Due to the rain, our visit to Victoria Peak ended early, so we were planning to take the Star Ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui as suggested and have the driver pick us up at the pier, but we were told that it would be difficult due to traffic jams at the scheduled time. Also, as an aside, it took just over an hour to get from the airport to our hotel near Tsim Sha Tsui. Thank you, KK!!
