Melbourne: Great Ocean Road Panoramic Day Tour | Australia

We had a great experience, its just that, we keep rushing. Lunch was recommended by tour guide to a chinese restaurant, but it was so crowded that we needed to wait more than 20mins. Basically keep rushing wholeday. Tour guide is bilingual, but his Chinese Language is definitely better. He definitely Need to practice more on English. I feel bad for those people who cannot understand Chinese as the tour guide’s English was so messed up.

We travelled with William in a 20+ seat mini bus. There was good communication throughout, including WhatsApp confirmation and meet-up details the day before. Pick-up was on time and William was fluent with his commentary in both English and Chinese. The bus ride itself is quite a wild ride (especially at certain parts of the winding great ocean road) so taking pills is recommended for those with motion sickness. For most sites, we were not guided to the viewing points but just dropped off and given instructions on how to walk there. Lunch was free and easy at Apollo Bay - gelato was excellent. Drop-off was flexible, at 4 different points in CBD. All in all, a very good bargain for the price.

The timing that we arrived at each location was perfect - avoiding the peak crowds. Enough time for lunch and to take photos too. Our guide William was friendly and made the effort to speak both English and Mandarin for the group.

There are multiple stops during the whole trip and the journey can be a few hours! I remember it is a small to medium size van so it's not that comfortable. However, the sceneries were beautiful.

The great ocean is a must-go! David Hsu, the tour guide, will explain to you along the way that the bus is clean, large and spacious. After all, the journey will be long, which is very important! A very unforgettable journey

The tour was well arranged, going in reverse, no traffic jams, perfectly avoiding peak crowds. The tour guide was excellent, friendly, and versatile. He was versatile and listened to his stories along the way. If there is a chance, I will participate in other tours.

From the introduction of attractions, the pride of Melbourne, the history of Australia to the history of Chinese immigration in Australia, first-time visitors can have a detailed understanding. David understands the mood of passengers very well, and thoughtfully leaves more time for each attraction, and takes passengers back to the nearby drop-off point at night. He recommends it to friends who like to listen to stories.
