Cu Lao Cham | 1 Day Visting Cham Island and Snorkeling Tour | Departure from Da Nang or Hoi An | Vietnam

They contacted us by WhatsApp and Zalo the day before, so the pick-up at the hotel was very smooth. There was always a friendly guide watching over us, so we didn't have to worry about getting lost. The boat to the island arrived at high speed in about 20 minutes, and we didn't have time to get seasick! We could choose between snorkeling or scuba diving, but scuba diving was for people who couldn't swim (mainly Vietnamese?), and it seemed like we had to walk along the rocks at a depth of 2 meters with the help of an assistant. So it wasn't a very serious experience. If you're Japanese, snorkeling would be fine. You can also borrow a life jacket if you want. The water was about 10 meters deep between the rocks, and we could see quite a few fish, but it was also nice to see the undulating coral. The lunch on the island was simple but had a good volume and flavor. The fish soup was also suitable for Japanese people. The time spent snorkeling and on the beach (excluding lunch) was just under an hour each, but it also included a visit to the island's temple, so I felt it was just right for people who don't want to spend that much time at the beach (I'm a 48-year-old man). I felt like it was a casual tour and I'd like to go again next time. I feel like this price is a good deal!

The tour guide Banana is very enthusiastic and cute! There are quite a lot of vendors at the port. If you don’t want to buy, just say NO. After departure, we will first go to the largest main island to briefly introduce Cham Island, and then go to the third island of Cham Island to float. After an hour of diving, there were many coral reefs and some small fish schools. Unfortunately, the underwater visibility was not very high, and the wind and waves were relatively strong this time. I started to feel a little seasick after about half an hour. At noon, we went to the second island for lunch. The food was simple but not bad. After more than an hour, you could take a nap on a lounge chair or hammock, or go to the beach in front of the restaurant for a final dip.

I also went scuba diving, and the water was so clear that I could see all the fish, starfish, and crabs!! I even saw a giant arowana..!!💕 I was so happy that there were no Koreans on the tour!

Good diving and coach, coach is experienced and I feel safe when the coach lead me while diving. I would recommend all to go even though you do not know how to swim.

Remember to bring a towel and put your swimsuit on underneath it first! By the way,Cham Islands’ water conditions are unstable, especially during the rainy season.
