got what we were promised, a nice hotpot for 2 persons. no need to queue and wait at all which is a big plus.

Booked via KK Fay skipped all the queue, just need to show your voucher on the phone to the receptionist. This is one of the most difficult to book hotpot place in Taipei, and certainly didn’t let us down. Ximen shop was opened in May, very new & nice, converted from an old movie theatre. Decor is very modern with Taiwan-pop element. Essentially singing along while we’re dining. Service is top notch, we sat in the big group since we’re a big group.

The food portions were generous, the seating was spacious, and the spicy hot pot tasted good. The entrance was rather simple; I initially thought it wasn't the restaurant entrance, only to find out later that I had to go down a flight of stairs.

Zhan Ji is a popular choice for spicy hot pot in Taipei, and reservations are difficult to make. Booking through KKday eliminates this hassle. The two-person set meal is just the right portion size. Those who like duck blood can order it separately; it's very flavorful. The dessert, Xuebao, comes in several flavors; we had the cream flavor, which was delicious. The ambiance is retro and unique, and you can request songs. The place is clean, and I'll definitely go again!
