Pass through the manual ticket gate at the North Exit of Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station 20 minutes before departure and gather in front of Platform 3

[Thursday] - Round Trip to Fukuoka - Local Dishes

Depart from Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station at 11:22 am, and arrive at Hanabata Station at 12:31 pm. Depart from Hanabata Station at 1:00 pm, and arrive back at Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station at 2:03 pm.

[Friday] - Departure from Fukuoka via Dazaifu to Omuta - Local Dishes

Depart from Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station at 9:52 am, and arrive at Dazaifu Station at 10:37 am (you may get off for sightseeing). Depart from Dazaifu Station at 11:55 am, and arrive at Hanabata Station at 1:01 pm. Depart from Hanabata Station at 1:35 pm, and arrive at Nishitetsu Yanagawa Station at 2:06 pm (you may get off at Yanagawa Station). Arrive at Omuta Station at 2:30 pm

If boarding at Dazaifu Station, gather at Platform 4 before 11:40 am

I was full of anticipation before departure, and the result was certainly as expected. The delicious food, sightseeing along the way, and the warm hospitality of the train staff meant that the entire journey ended in a pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely participate again next time I have the chance.

The interior of the train is very good and in line with the reputation of the restaurant. The service of the staff is appropriate and not too enthusiastic. The introduction of the food is very detailed. The scenery along the way is ordinary but comfortable and in line with the value.

Last September, I took the Thursday train for the first time and was still not satisfied. This time, I chose the Friday trip and took the Nishitetsu Tenjin to Omuta Station. I got off at Dazaifu Station and had some free time. I could enjoy the scenery along the way and there were enthusiastic people waving outside the train. The 6 appetizers had a refreshing taste, and the main dish, the onion and olive stewed chicken, was very tasty. Every season, a new menu is designed with seasonal ingredients from Kyushu, and the freshness is exciting! Nishitetsu Chikugo Kitchen Sightseeing Train has beautiful scenery, delicious food, and human touch. It would be a pity to miss it.

From placing an order to the end of the ride, it is a wonderful emotional experience. When booking, I noted that it was my mom’s birthday on the day of the train ride and I wanted to celebrate with her. So when I got on the train, I was arranged to the first table in the first carriage. After the dessert was served, the conductor and his colleagues brought small cakes from the rear of the train to our table and sang Happy Birthday, which was a big surprise for my mom! Her happiness makes it all worth it!
