Yilan Lanyang Zoo and Botanical Kingdom Ticket

An experience to see the animals and feed up close. kangaroo and capybara were very docile and friendly. Even though it was raining the workers helped bring out the kangaroo for us to feed.

Buying tickets in advance is convenient and includes a free capsule toy of dried hay. Remember to exchange it at the grassy area near the outdoor stalls first, as it won't be available elsewhere. Spoons are provided for children to feed the hay, which is safer.

More than 80% of the rooms are air-conditioned indoors, making them ideal for travel regardless of the weather.

It felt pleasant and comfortable, very relaxing! The indoor air quality was also acceptable, although it was a bit hot, but at least there was an indoor space to escape the sun! The kids also had a lot of fun playing outdoors!! However, it would be even better if there were more play areas for older children.

A great place for families, with a wide variety of animals, and a café where you can rest and have a meal if you get tired.

Lots of animals were watching, and they all seemed to be in good spirits. Feeding the turtles was fun, and the toucans were super cute.

The animals were very friendly; the only downside was that there weren't enough cockroaches in the cockroach exhibit.

Lanyang Zoo is truly an excellent zoo in Yilan, boasting a wide variety of animals, all well-cared for, and offering numerous animal shows. It's a great option for families with children, allowing you to spend an entire afternoon there. It's really excellent value for money, but the downside is to avoid weekends. Last time I went on a Saturday, the crowds were overwhelming, making it difficult to properly observe the animals. Thankfully, this time I went on a weekday, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Highly recommended!

This trip was to Yilan with friends from abroad. I had visited a few farms before, and while they were fun, they always felt a little lacking since I was with friends. I also searched for many leisure farms online and finally decided to take them to Lanyang Zoo. Luckily, it was the right choice; they had a wonderful time.
