Day 1

Reception on the 1st floor of Hyogomachi Main Store (5 minutes)

On the 3rd floor, there will be an explanation of preparations (gloves and aprons) and important points to note (10 minutes)

Explaining the history of udon and why it developed in Kagawa Prefecture (10 mins)

Experience making handmade udon noodles! (40 minutes)

Commemorative photo⭐️ (5 minutes)

Prepare meals on the second floor and create a certificate on your smartphone (20 minutes)

Dinner time with homemade udon (30 minutes) Only the 4,500 yen course includes a set of Sanuki specialty dishes like the one in the picture.

You can choose between hot or cold udon.

Our group of five including 2 kids went for this experience. It was fun and not difficult to follow. The teacher was nice, friendly and cheerful. One of our kids even got to step on the udon dough. The udon meal was delicious, especially the cold version!

The instructor is very friendly and engaging. She has made the whole experience awesome and kept us laughing during the udon making session. The udon and dishes are delicious. Definitely recommend it!

I went with my elementary school-aged son. Mr. S, who is very cheerful and kind, taught me in a fun way, and my son was able to relax and enjoy making udon. The finished udon was chewy and delicious, both hot and cold. We took the ferry from Shodoshima and walked from the port to the shop, which was easy to find. It might be a bit difficult to walk in the hot summer, but otherwise, I think it would be easy. I was unwell and caused some inconvenience along the way, but the thoughtfulness of the staff really helped me out. Thank you very much. I would like to come back someday to eat udon when I'm feeling better.

It was very moving to see my 8-year-old son sweating and concentrating on making udon. The teacher's instructions were very easy to understand, so he was able to learn the key points of making udon and said he would like to try again.

I participated with my daughter. The instruction was thorough, clear, and fun, with lots of laughs. I was worried whether an amateur could really do it, but before I knew it, the dough had become smooth and spread out to the size of the rolling pin, which surprised me! Of course, it does require some physical strength as you have to knead and roll it out, but although my daughter did receive some advice, she managed to do it all by herself without any help. The udon noodles afterwards were delicious. We had both hot and cold. We received a rolling pin as a souvenir, so my daughter is excited to make it at home!

The chef and the service staff in the store are very kind. I brought my children there and they were very parent-child friendly. The chef was patient in teaching the children, which was great!

The production process is super fun, the chef is very good at creating an atmosphere. Although we don't speak the same language, we can still communicate normally through the translation machine. The production process is really tiring, but the chef will help adjust and take photos. There are only 3 adults and 2 children in our group. Although children under 6 years old cannot sign up here, the chef on site allows us to participate. "The udon noodles are super delicious." There will be two bowls of cold and hot noodles, because when making it, one person is given 4 servings of flour, and you can add more noodles if you don't eat enough. The staff on site are also very friendly. This udon restaurant usually has a lot of locals coming to eat! By the way, there are also certificates and souvenirs! A must come with children, and even more so without children, it's worth it!
