The exchange for an "official" ticket was easy. The crowd management when we visited was excellent and we did get to enter some pavilions without a reservation. The popular pavilions always with a line queue were missed unfortunately but most we entered exceeded our expectations and were both entertaining and informative.

Definitely book early. The ballot system is complex. be prepared to be walking a lot and standing and waiting in lines. Most lines were less than 20 minutes around 2:00 p.m. the lines got longer after that. I would recommend Korea, Australia, Tech World, Serbia, Belgium, and the physical symphony. I attended for 2 days, and I only saw a quarter of the 80 Pavilions. there is a 7-Eleven, Family Mart, Lawson's, and down near the Waterfront, there is a food court. The Pavilions food is quite expensive so it's up to you if you bring your own. do not bring cans or glass bottles. Security checks every bottle and scans every bag. if you're travelling to the East Gate, expect cues to get into the Expo. The ballot is complex because you may win for your 2 months one that is in the blue section, and then your next one is in the red section, so you are going back and forward from one side to other.

Too many people was one of the major issues and the on site pavilion reservation only allows ONE booking at a time so u have to wait for the booking time of reservation to book another one.. Gundam is open for booking at 12n and 3pm so make sure u have NO reservation at these two times in order to get Gundam reservation if it is available.. Toilet is a major issue.. Sushiro is a great place to eat with a high tech ordering system..

The Osaka Expo created a stunning pavilion by combining cutting-edge technology with traditional aesthetics, with AI and sustainable concepts running through the exhibition area. Although excessive commercialization and chaotic queues have somewhat diminished its luster, the tug of war between a sense of the future and humanistic care still arouses deep expectations and reflections on the direction of human civilization.

I hadn't thought about visiting it, but since there was a discount, I took my parents there. It's impossible to see everything in one day. There were people everywhere. We only visited 3 pavilions before we had to catch the bus. The venue is really big. I entered from the East Gate, went to the Taiwan Pavilion near the West Gate, and finally walked back to the East Gate to take the subway.

The venue is very large. If you don't make an appointment at the venue, you need to queue for a long time. Then many venues you want to visit are not selected for reservations... You can only swipe the ticket after entering the venue, which is a waste of time

Although I bought it at the west gate, I can actually enter from the east gate, which is quite user-friendly.

There were fewer people entering the venue in the morning, but more and more people came in the afternoon. The venue is large, and my feet were sore from walking. I wanted to take a photo with Maimai, so I had to queue up, and I had to queue up to use the toilet and get water. The queue for the popular pavilions really took at least 50 minutes. I was lucky to get a 25-minute queue to enter the Taiwan Pavilion, and I also received a small souvenir. If you know Japanese or English, you can better understand the contents of the venue, otherwise it is easy to just rush through it.
