Recently, I went to the famous "Chaogangcheng International Food Hall" in Taichung with my family for dinner. This is a restaurant with a small reputation in the local area. I have heard about it for a long time and finally had the opportunity to experience it myself. Overall, whether it is the dining environment, the quality of the food or the service attitude, it has left a very good impression. It is a satisfying dining experience. As soon as you step into Chaogangcheng, the first thing that catches your eye is the magnificent hall and the high and spacious space, which makes people feel full of welcoming atmosphere. The interior decoration is elegant and generous, combining modern and Chinese elements, not too complicated, and the clean and bright dining area also makes people feel particularly comfortable to dine. The service staff is friendly and very attentive from seating to ordering, giving people a feeling of being at home. This time we chose the form of a combined table. The set meal for a table of ten is rich in content and the arrangement of dishes is also quite ingenious. The appetizer is an exquisite cold cut platter, including smoked duck breast, cold jellyfish skin and braised beef tendon. Each dish is handled just right, appetizing and flavorful. Next on the table was a hot Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, with a rich and delicious soup, containing high-end ingredients such as fish maw, sea cucumber, scallops, and pig's feet. Every bite can taste the essence of the time-consuming cooking. Seafood is the strength of Chaogang City. The steamed tiger grouper we tasted this time was tender and had no fishy smell. The heat was just right, and the fish meat was delicate and elastic. With simple ginger and soy sauce, it was a mouthful. Another crispy soft-shell crab, the skin was fried golden and crispy, and the crab meat inside was still moist and sweet. It was a dish that everyone at the table was fighting for. The meat part was also quite good, such as honey barbecue pork and braised beef ribs, the taste was more traditional Chinese, the sauce was rich but not too salty, and it melted in the mouth. The vegetables were stir-fried with seasonal vegetables, refreshing and greasy. Fried rice and desserts such as taro sago were also not sloppy, which made the whole dinner a perfect ending. It is worth mentioning that although Chaogang City is large in scale and has many seats, the speed of serving dishes is fast and the quality of dishes can be maintained stable, which is not common in many large restaurants. In addition, the service staff replenished tea and closed the dishes quickly, and took special care of the elders and children, making the overall dining process smooth, pleasant and harmonious. It is worth mentioning that although Chaogang City is large in scale and has many seats, the speed of serving dishes is fast and the quality of dishes can be maintained stable, which is not common in many large restaurants. The only small suggestion is that because there are many people on holidays, it is recommended to make reservations in advance, otherwise you may have to wait if you go there temporarily, especially if it is a multi-person dinner or table event, it should be arranged in advance. Overall, Chaogang City is not only a place suitable for family gatherings, but also very suitable for large-scale events such as wedding banquets and company gatherings. It not only provides delicious food, but also takes into account the environment and service, making people feel at home. This dining experience was very pleasant. If there is a chance in the future, I will bring more relatives and friends to spend a good time together.
