I decided to register the app on my smartphone the day before and made a reservation online. Thanks to this, I didn't have to line up for same-day tickets first thing in the morning, and I was able to quickly arrive at the ropeway station and enjoy my time at the summit. Furthermore, I was able to pay more reasonably than if I had purchased a same-day ticket. To be honest, I wasn't familiar with the site, but since it was via the Docomo Point Up Mall, I was happy and relieved to receive points.

I recommend this ticket because you don't have to queue at the ticket booth and you can buy tickets at a cheaper price. Just before you board the gondola, you can have the staff scan the barcode on your smartphone. You will also receive a discounted drink ticket for the summit, just like the people who queue at the ticket booth. The summit is higher than you'd expect, and the view is amazing.

Although I couldn't see Mt. Fuji, it was refreshing to see the dynamic topography of Suruga Bay and Izu. It would be great to see Mt. Fuji, so I would like to visit again!

The ropeway can seat about six adults, but during Golden Week, only families and couples were allowed on board.
