Two-day tour of Mt. Fuji, Izu, Hakone, and Kamakura | Mt. Fuji, Kamakura, Hakone | Michelin two-star scenic area and hot spring accommodation in Izu

It rained all day on the first day of our two-day trip, and we didn't see Mount Fuji. Our driver-guide was excellent, covering every scenic spot along the way and explaining each one to us. The hotel we stayed in that night was rather shabby and reeked of cigarette smoke. But the next morning, the rain had stopped, and I looked out the window to see a massive Mount Fuji. The early snow of the year made the peak look like a photo. After a bad hotel experience, I immediately understood why we stayed there. The driver-guide adjusted the itinerary based on the weather, making our trip truly worthwhile.

The tour guide was great, but the hotel was really shabby, many things were broken, it didn't feel like being in Japan, it felt like being back in China
