Very easy to redeem the voucher. Go to Kamonei hotel, wait at lobby, show the boatman your reservation, and they will guide you to the boat. Many people on that day we ride, but each boat not many people. It's sad that it was raining, we can't see the ninja jump and we have to buy disposable raincoat from them at 200yen each. Otherwise it was fun and interactive even though we don't know Japanese.

Our Yanagawa canal boat ride was the highlight of our trip, largely thanks to our talented boatman,Masa. His singing voice was hauntingly beautiful, high voice and full of emotion, like listening in Baroque opera. He didn't just guide the boat; he transported us back in time with traditional songs that made the scenery come alive. He created a truly special and unforgettable atmosphere for our family of 4. he also recommended us the nice and best Yanagawa well known Eel bento restaurant just next to the canal! i would like to complimement Masa and thanks him for creating the overall experience.

It was a very nice experience. It was a bit far from the usual loading dock, which was around 15 minutes by bus to the Kamenoi Hotel. The waiting area is air-conditioned, and the staff is amazing. The boat ride is fun and very informative. The boatmen sing and know some Chinese and Korean phrases. Overall, it was great and fun!

They start on time and throughout the journey, the boatman explained architectures we see along the river stream. He sang 3 beautiful songs, probably folklore songs about Yanagawa. It was fun even though the whole ride was done in Japanese. the most interesting part was when we had to duck the bridges!

The boatman let everyone enjoy the ride.

It’s the most fun I’ve had in my Fukuoka trip. At 10 USD per person, I would have paid double than that and I’d be as happy. The boat man was friendly, funny and just a ball of joy. The overall ride was serene but also had a bit of adventure especially when you need to duck from the many bridges surrounding the area. If you’re thinking whether you’ll do this or not, let me save you some time, DO IT!!!

Arrived to Yanagawa by public transport, difficult to understand bus system from train station to hotel for cruise. Walk was a bit far in the sun but limited with options. lovely area and quite surrounds. Ken was our boat guide.

Parking at Kame no I Hotel is convenient, and the overall itinerary is great. The boatman sings and dances, you can request songs using your phone, he can soothe crying children, and he answers all your questions.

There was a boat jumping segment, and the rowers energetically created a lively atmosphere; the scenery was beautiful.
