Amazing Journey. It is absolutely worthy!

It’s the most fun I’ve had in my Fukuoka trip. At 10 USD per person, I would have paid double than that and I’d be as happy. The boat man was friendly, funny and just a ball of joy. The overall ride was serene but also had a bit of adventure especially when you need to duck from the many bridges surrounding the area. If you’re thinking whether you’ll do this or not, let me save you some time, DO IT!!!

Arrived to Yanagawa by public transport, difficult to understand bus system from train station to hotel for cruise. Walk was a bit far in the sun but limited with options. lovely area and quite surrounds. Ken was our boat guide.

There are many options for Yanagawa cruises. This one is far from the station, but there is a bus stop at the door of the hotel, so the transportation is quite convenient! The boatman is very active in interacting and creating an atmosphere, singing crazily, and jumping up and down ~ It's very interesting ~ You can also take a short rest in the hotel lobby while waiting. In summer, it's just right to choose the last boat at 5 o'clock, which is not so hot!

The boatman is very kind and polite, and his singing is very beautiful. He also uses a trick to climb from the boat to the bridge and then jump back to the boat. The river scenery of Yanagawa is beautiful and pleasant.

Bozhou Songdao-san was as enthusiastic as the weather today. He sang 5 songs and then jumped off the boat. He was sweating all over, but he was still very dedicated! It was great! It was a great experience

Take the Nishitetsu from Fukuoka Tenjin Station to Yanagawa West Exit, then take the bus to Kamenoi Hotel. It will be too late to wait for the bus, so I contacted the store immediately. The reply was quick and helped us postpone it to the next show. Thank you very much🥹The boatman is humorous and has a good singing voice. Everyone was amused🤭
