On the day of pickup, I contacted the staff to arrange pick-up from Akamine Station. Upon arrival, the staff explained the key points of driving in Japan and returning the car. I purchased NOC insurance on-site for protection. When picking up the car, both parties confirmed the condition of the vehicle. The navigation system was even set to Chinese for me, showing great attention to detail. The car was new, clean, and in excellent condition, working perfectly for five days. Since there were only two of us using the car, the KKday car was more than enough. On the day of return, I refueled near the rental company. Fortunately, it wasn't peak return time, so there was no queue. After a simple vehicle check at the rental company, the return process was completed. On the return trip, they quickly checked the car and then took us to the airport. 👍 We also rented an SS-class car with space for child seats in the back and a maximum of two 28-inch luggage bags and one other. After boarding and arriving at the hotel, we unloaded our luggage, which made the back space much more spacious.

It was my first time driving in Japan, and I rented a Daihatsu for a total of 5 days. It was super fuel-efficient and in very new condition. The counter staff was very attentive and explained how to use the car computer. They also helped me set it to Chinese mode. There were also thoughtful left and right turn indicators on the steering wheel. There was also a pick-up service between the airport and Akagamine Station. Unfortunately, the line provided by KKday was not available, and I could only use the built-in messaging system of KKday. I had to scan their official line at the site to contact them.

It was my first time driving by myself. I experienced that Japanese cars were easy to drive and the navigation was simple to operate. The service attitude was very good. Thank you.
