Omuroyama

The "Yama Festival" held in February every year is a major attraction. The entire mountain will be set on fire, and the scene is shocking, symbolizing blessing and rebirth.

You can easily reach the top of the mountain by taking the Omuro Mountain Chairlift, which takes only 6 minutes to reach the top

Stand on the edge of a 4,000-year-old crater and feel the breath of the earth and the wind of the Pacific Ocean

If the cable car is out of service due to bad weather, go to Ito Cactus Zoo (zoo tickets are at your own expense)

Kinosaki Coast

Take a stroll along the Kinosaki Nature Research Trail and explore the hidden coast

The rugged cliffs, unique volcanic rocks and the blue sea complement each other, creating a stunning scenery, and it is known as "Izu's most beautiful volcanic coast"

Facing Sagami Bay, Marin Town boasts a wealth of amenities, including ocean-view hot springs, unique cuisine, sea sightseeing cruises, and a shopping center selling souvenirs.

I enjoyed having a smaller group, there were only 8 of us. The van was spacious and comfortable which was perfect for or 3-4hour each way drive (depending on traffic). This tour has great views of mountains and the ocean. Unfortunately the chair lift was closed to the summit of Mt Izo, so I could only take photos at the base. However, I was able to alternatively spend more time at the zoo which is across the road. The zoo has some open enclosures so you can interact and feed the animals. There's plenty of capybaras. The tour was well organised and our tour guide messaged us throughout the day to inform us of meeting times and destinations.

What a fun trip! The only regret is that the Mt. Omuro Ropeway is under maintenance.

Six people per car, a quick, convenient, and comfortable trip. The cable car to Mt. Omuro was closed due to strong winds, so we couldn't climb the mountain to enjoy the scenery. Luckily, we went to Mt. Komuro instead, where the scenery was quite nice. Strangely, there were no places to eat throughout the trip, so remember to bring your own snacks.

This trip was fantastic, every view was amazing, it's a pity the time spent there was too short. Mt. Omuro is beautiful, we could have stayed longer to enjoy the scenery. The cactus zoo was great, with lots of animal feeding experiences.

ALLAN tan was extremely happy and fortunate to have met such a professional and experienced tour guide and driver. This day trip was probably the best choice for this independent trip. Mr. You's photography skills were excellent, and he also introduced some hidden gems. The whole trip was very enjoyable and I would definitely take a similar tour to the countryside again. This tour guide is a fantastic employee of this company, 100 points!

The extinct volcano at Mt. Omuro is well worth a visit; the crescent-shaped mountain path offers beautiful scenery.

It's easy, convenient, and enjoyable; otherwise, traveling from Tokyo to Izu by car would be very tiring.

Because Izu is quite far, traffic jams are inevitable on the way there and back. You can feel that they are trying very hard to get there, but unfortunately there's no information about it. It's basically just the driver's role. However, it's still a great option for a day trip from Tokyo to Mount Omuro.

This place is difficult to get to without a car. Thank you to the driver/guide for the long drive and patience.

The driver drove a bit fast, but he was very nice. Because it was a small group tour, the schedule was flexible and could be adjusted according to the time and weather, which was a great experience. It was foggy at first, but thankfully the weather improved, and we enjoyed the unique scenery of Mt. Omuro. It was excellent value for money.
