Takachiho, located in Miyazaki Prefecture, is a sacred place steeped in mythology and breathtaking natural scenery. The Takachiho Scenic Railway (Sky Train) utilizes the abandoned old Takachiho Railway line, transforming it into a wildly popular tourist experience. Its most captivating feature is the panoramic view of the gorge from "Japan's highest railway bridge." This gorge, formed by columnar jointing eroded from lava after the eruption of Mount Aso, is designated a National Scenic Spot and Monument of Japan. Manai Falls: One of Japan's 100 Best Falls. Renting a boat to cruise through the gorge and experiencing the 17-meter drop of the waterfall up close is a classic experience. • Canyon Trail: Along the Gosegawa River, there is a 1-kilometer trail where you can admire unique rock formations such as "Sennjin no Screen Rock" and take beautiful photos of the waterfall and boats from a high vantage point.

Ningning, the tour guide, was friendly and provided detailed information, solving the transportation difficulties for independent travelers.
