Penghu Day Tour｜Dive into the Lavender Forest Double Dive Site｜Rose Garden & Lavender Forest Snorkeling & Xiji Blue Cave Cruise

This tour made Penghu one of my all time favorite destinations in Taiwan! This was one of the best snorkeling experiences I’ve ever had! Special thank you to Jessie for being an amazing guide!

The captain is handsome and lively when driving the boat, and his skills in water sports are needless to say~ The coach will introduce the islands of Penghu during the voyage, and will take everyone to snorkel and take pictures when entering the water. The whole trip can be played in the water and climb some hills to overlook the sea view. It is very worthwhile, especially the blue and purple corals in the lavender forest. Although you can see that many of them are dead, I am still very happy to see a different coral scenery.

This trip to the Southern Four Islands was destined to be extraordinary. My roommate had a drowning experience when she was young, and she had a deep fear of the sea. When we were still thinking about how to help her overcome it, Captain Jessic said, "Fear is not your real enemy. Let it go, overcome fear, and you will see a bigger world." It was like a gentle and firm light that shone into her heart. Coach Asun was like a stable island, patiently guiding her step by step to re-contact the sea water, put on the mask, and adapt to the embrace of the sea without pressure. She finally floated on the sea and turned to give us a reassuring smile. At that moment, we knew that she had not defeated the sea, but herself. At the end of the journey, Captain Jessic had a "surprise" for us - she wanted us to experience an "encounter with dolphins." She searched for dolphins through sonar and waited patiently with us; even when the dolphins did not appear, she personally took the paddle and paddled with Coach Asun at the stern to guide us closer to the waters where dolphins might appear. This is not just a journey, but an experience that demonstrates the spirit of craftsmen: professionalism, gentleness, persistence, and love and respect for the sea. Thank you, Captain Jessic and Coach Asun, for not only letting us see the sea, but also letting us see ourselves again during the journey. It also proves that the human heart is deeper and warmer than the sea. An unforgettable trip to the four southern islands of Penghu.

The captain and the coach are very hospitable. The captain has good boat driving skills and the coach's explanation is also very interesting. We spent a very pleasant and fun day. The one-day tour was very relaxing. We even had time to visit the Green Turtle Conservation Center in Wangan. Although I was tired after the whole day, I was very happy!

The sea view on Dongyuping Island is super beautiful, the snorkeling in the purple lavender forest is super beautiful, and the blue hole is super beautiful. These are all world-class attractions. The coaches are all very lively and enthusiastic. It's a 1 to 4 snorkeling and 1 to 2 self-diving group. It's a super exquisite small group. The snorkeling time was sufficient, unlike other groups' comments that the time was too short; the Blue Hole was also close enough for taking photos, unlike other groups' comments that you could only pass by in a hurry.

The beautiful captain Jessie and coach A Tu were both very enthusiastic. Some of my family members were afraid of water, and the coach was very patient in teaching and accompanying us. We saw many beautiful coral reefs, as well as many small fish and turtles.

Thanks to our beautiful and gentle captain, I was afraid of seasickness, but I was not affected at all when sitting at the bow! Facing the sea breeze, with a broad view, my mood is as free as a bird flying! The captain also has a pair of "radar eyes", which easily helped us find cute dolphins and leisurely turtles, and let us play with seagulls on the sea! At noon, she also prepared lobster and abalone noodles for us, which was a five-star experience! Our coaches were extremely professional. They knew the history, origin and ecology of each island in Penghu very well. They also spoke vividly and interestingly, as if they were telling their own stories, which made us listen with great interest. And it’s super thoughtful! Take care of the needs of each partner. For curious tourists like me who just want to soak in the sea, the coach will turn into a personal tour guide and take me on adventures everywhere! Do you know what I saw? Lavender garden! Not the kind on land! There are also rose corals on the seabed, so beautiful that I wonder if I have accidentally walked into a fairy tale! There are also orange starfish! I touched it secretly several times and thought it was a cold stone, but it turned out to be "alive"! Oh my god, this is amazing! Then, I saw the long conger eel? (Anyway, it is very long!), there are also wild groupers, and small fish of various bright colors and strange patterns. They look like leisurely ladies taking a stroll, and at other times like well-trained soldiers, turning rapidly and synchronously. I was stunned by them and didn’t want to go ashore at all! Still a "professional photographer"! Every casual shot looks like a salon photo (even though they are already confident enough, I still can’t help but praise them for being all-round coaches, and it’s okay to let their self-confidence grow a little more!). What impressed me even more was that our team was always careful not to let garbage fly around and would pick up trash whenever they could. Their heartfelt volunteer spirit made me want to join them and protect this beautiful ocean together. The underwater world is like an endless treasure trove, filled with all kinds of surprises, just waiting for us lucky explorers to discover them one by one! The memories of this time are so precious that I can’t help but smile when I think of them now! In addition to the wonderful underwater world, the experience on the water is also great! We visited the Wangan Green Turtle Conservation Center for free, climbed to the top of Dongyu Ping Island, overlooking the magnificent sea view and the vast and deep blue hole. Each activity is worth recalling and describing in detail, but there is not enough space to describe it all. Just a reminder, the team provides masks with prescription drugs, you can write it clearly in "other" or "notes", don't be like me who only took my own prescription swimming goggles and had to look up to breathe frequently.
