The Wi-Fi is so affordable and available almost everywhere. Traveling around Taiwan is incredibly easy, especially since it's so easy to search for directions, routes, and places online.

The device worked great as expected, and had a long battery life

I have been renting similar device in prior trips. Everything went smoothly as expected. We actually had a wrinkle this time since we were flying into TSA airport instead of TPE airport. Therefore, it was a little confusing when picking up the device. There isn’t a kiosk for it. Instead, I had to go to a package delivery service counter to pick up the device which came in a package. That’s a bit unique for me. But all turned out fine and the device performed flawlessly and effective.

I reserved a portable wifi modem before I arrived in Taipei. Pickup and the airport was quick and easy. The modem worked well and I didn't have any problems with it except twice the connection to my phone dropped but it was easily fixed. Drop-off was ok- I arrived at the kiosk.just after a flight arrived so the line was long but it went quickly enough and I returned the modem with no problems and was on my way relatively quickly.
