Route Suggestion 1: Shuishan Giant Tree Trail - A beautiful trail like a fairyland. The total length of Shuishan Giant Tree Trail is about 1.6 kilometers. The entrance is only a five-minute walk from Chaoping Station. Because it has just been renovated, not many tourists know about it. There are so many people there, so strolling through them gives you an ethereal feeling of an alien wonderland. The trail is named Shuishan Giant Tree because there is a 2,700-year-old red cypress sacred tree at the end.

Route Suggestion 2: Walk the Zhushan Sun Viewing Trail to the Alpine Botanical Garden, the highest landmark in nearby Alishan. This is a private attraction far away from the hustle and bustle and has a unique and quiet atmosphere. It is also open to the six-star Ogasawara Mountain Observation Deck, which is one of the three largest in Taiwan.
