There is a 40% discount on boat tour by booking on KKday instead of buying tickets at the pier. We had a bit of a challenge locating the boat vendor but after we found the place, all went well. Boat cruise was pleasant as the captain would give some background/history re: the lake and told us jokes. He also gave us coupons for local vendors which came in quite handy. The tram ride was great, no wait at all.

It is convenient to buy tickets online, and there is no need to queue up to buy tickets. The cable car station and the cruise ship terminal are both near the accommodation, which is convenient for exchanging tickets. The bicycle rental place is near the Sheshui Pier. If you want to upgrade to an electric bicycle, you need to pay extra. The overall scenery of Sun Moon Lake is pleasant👍🏻

We bought this under TNG offer, so we got a good deal price. The only tricky part is on the redemption portion, it is only can be redeem at certain point for cruise ticket first, and redeem the cable car ticket at cable car station. Overall is good, it works.

The cable car is incredible. Great views. Was lucky enough to go in the Sakura car which has a glass bottom which makes it terrifying but also a beautiful view of all the trees.

It was a pleasant ride up the cable car. Both the glass floored one and regular one is of the same price but naturally many will queue for the glass floored crystal cabins. We rode the Sakura themed version. Very pretty and gives a good overview of the sun moon lake :)
