Aodai Costume One-Day Rental Experience | Hoi An, Vietnam

It was my sister and i’s first visit to Vietnam and had no one to follow but the owners (the husband and the wife) were so so so friendly, kind and heartwarming. They helped us step by step to choose the right sized Ao Dai and take photos beautifully. Their assistance and flexible kindness are excellent. I already want to go back to their place and wear other ao dai. (We went to Hoi A night market. It only takes 10mins by Grab from this place The city was vibrant at around 7pm and spent 3 hours to explore but the 3 hours weren’t enough to see all. If you wanna get lovely photos and memories in Ao Dai in Hoi An, you should definitely visit this place.

Sir Vinh and his wife were very accomodating. As soon as we arrive, we are given time to choose our own Ao Dai. They also take beautiful photos inside their home once you have choosen your Ao Dai

Mr Nguyen was courteous and was fetching me up from my hotel to his place to choose the ao dai, since I didnt have a friend to share grab with. When I returned the aodai, I only needed to put it in my hotel front desk. I would recommend bring a base or wear suitable underwear if you want to try the light color ao dai pieces.

ao dai sizes range from XS to XL. mixture of old and new aodai. come with choices of conical hat or men's hat or hairband. owner is very friendly and will whatsapp you before your trip. he will also collect the aodai from the hotel without having us to return to his shop. you can rent for 24 hours. but no discount if you rent on the spot. it is the same price in kkday. the shop is also the owner's house, the aodai are displayed and hang inside a small room of the house which has minimal/no aircond. take note the location is far from old town so you need to grab car.

Miss Huong is very kind and friendly. She will help guests take photos and send them to us. After the rental, you can leave it directly at the hotel in Hoi An Old Town for the store to pick up, which is very convenient when returning! The only downside is that the store is a bit far from the old town, so you need to take a Grab to and from the old town.

While sightseeing in Hoi An, I tried on an Ao Dai that I had always wanted to wear! I got lost and was late because I couldn't find the place, but the shop staff came to pick me up at the entrance. I was distracted by the many beautiful colors of Ao Dai, but I chose on instinct. I took a photo in a beautiful garden while enjoying herbal tea made by the young wife. Thank you so much for your kindness. It was a great experience and memory in Hoi An.

Other Ao Dai rental shops usually require same-day return at 5 PM, but here, we were able to wear and return the Ao Dai as much as we wanted because it was 24 hours after pick-up. What’s more, they said we could leave the Ao Dai at the hotel lobby, which was even better. However, on the kkday website, it said that the return had to be made by 5 PM on the same day, but I found out about it because I read in a review that it was possible to return the Ao Dai to a nearby hotel within 3 km. They have such a great system, but it’s not even listed on kkday, so I think it would be good to fix it. There were some reviews saying that there weren’t many Ao Dai varieties, but we didn’t feel that way and it was enough for us. Just like the reviews said, the owners were very kind.
